Enhanced Box Score: Cubs 4, Mets 1 – August 18, 2014

Enhanced Box Scores

Kyle Hendricks just keeps doing his thing: movement, location, sequencing, groundballs. It won’t always result in a sub-2.00 ERA over such a long stretch, but it should continue to work at least at the back of a rotation. His performance thus far is absolutely something to be happy about, and is very fun to watch. Just be OK with the fact that it probably won’t always be *this* good.

Anthony Rizzo hit his 28th dinger, and Javier Baez hit one to the moon (second deck). The Cubs walk away with a series split after dropping the first two.
