For the third straight day, Addison Russell has homered for the Tennessee Smokies.

I’m not kidding. See for yourself:

That one was a shot to dead center, and Russell’s OPS is now up to .924 with the Smokies. If he had enough at bats to qualify, that OPS would be second best in the entire Southern League.

Kris Bryant dealt with, and conquered, a toe injury, but is now back to doing what he does:

Also a shot to dead center. The homer was Bryant’s 41st on the year in the minors, which is just amazing.
