Quantcast

wrigley field inside featureWith more rain threatening, the Cubs and Giants will today try and complete their rain-suspended game from Tuesday. The expected start time is 4:05pm CT, and it’ll be the bottom of the 5th with the Cubs up 2-0. The tarp is currently on the field. That is not a joke, by the way.

After that, at 7:05pm CT, the Cubs will play the Giants in today’s regularly-scheduled affair. It’s Social Media Night at the ballpark, which means a variety of things, but most importantly, it means it’s a good time to meet up with folks you’ve known only electronically to this point. I’ll be at the #CubsSocial event pre-game at 5:15/5:30, and I hope to see many of you there. (If you choose not to go to the make-up game, which you can do if you’ve got a ticket for tonight’s game.)

Travis Wood gets the start tonight (Jacob Turner is “starting” the resumed game) for the Cubs, and fellow lefty Madison Bumgarner goes for the Giants.
