This was a good 15 minutes ago at this point, but I can still barely compose myself. I’d almost forgotten what baseball can do to a person until the last couple months.

Jorge Soler saw three pitches from Mat Latos in his first big league at bat, and then he did this:

That thing went 423 feet to center, and I looked lustily upon every single one of them.

Thank you for the great memory, Jorge. What a time to be following the Cubs, eh?
