kauffman stadiumWell, the timing of the big Joe Maddon rumor was not great. I didn’t really want that to be my own focus this evening, so there are selfish reasons. I expect MLB, the Cubs, and Maddon probably aren’t thrilled about it either.

But we’ve got to try and put that off for tomorrow.

It’s Game 7 of the World Series. Our first since 2011, and only the second in the last 12 years. Say what you will about the merits of the two teams that made it – are they really the two “best” teams in baseball? probably not, but that’s not really what this is about – this has been an exciting series in an exciting playoffs. Hopefully tonight’s game is close throughout, though, unlike the blowouts.
