Per Jon Heyman, the Cardinals are picking up Mark Reynolds:

While your first instinct may be to crack jokes about his defense and his strikeouts, I think this might be a fineĀ move for the Cardinals. Although Reynolds, 31, didn’t take well to a full-time role in Milwaukee – those days are probably behind him – he can probably still hit lefties well (last year he had a weird, reverse platoon split going on, but small sample). Given that Matt Adams is a careerĀ .197/.227/.326 hitter off of lefties (51 wRC+), adding someone like Reynolds is a borderline requirement.
