Kris Bryant’s First Big League “Homer” Was a Little Leaguer (VIDEO)

Chicago Cubs News

In tonight’s game against the Pirates, Kris Bryant kinda-sorta hit his first big league homer in a crazy play you won’t see repeated for a while:

Some things:

1. Bryant was officially credited with a double, taking third on the throw.

2. Bryant crushed that ball in Bryant-like fashion, even if it was “only” a double.

3. I love the aggressiveness in taking third on the throw, but obviously it was probably a little too aggressive to chug toward home when the ball squirted away, right to the Pirates player backing the play up.

4. This play made me all kinds of happy.
