Reds Say, “Can’t Beat ‘Em? Have the Mascots Run Over Kris Bryant!” (VIDEO)

Chicago Cubs News, Cubs Humor

The Cincinnati Reds have a mascot who cannot possibly be for children, a la Clark the Cub.

This is Mr. Redlegs:

I don’t care what he’s supposed to be. What he actually is is terrifying.

And today, he almost took out Kris Bryant. Seriously. Look:

Sure, the Reds would probably say Bryant almost ran into Mr. Redlegs, but we know better. The Reds knew what they had to do to try and stay in the race this year. I’m starting to wonder if the Cardinals should check the video tape for any suspicious large-headed, red monsters nearby with blow guns when Adam Wainwright went down.

And just look at that police officer, watching on and doing nothing! That’s the Cubs’ future, Officer! Protect and serve!
