Chicago Cubs 2016 NL Central Championship Gear

wrigley outfieldThe Cubs have won just 3 in the last 10 days – two of those three times, Jon Lester was the starting pitcher.

Lester’s task tonight is to hold the Mets down enough for the Cubs to scrape something together against Jacob deGrom, and to prevent the bullpen from having a chance to make us all very uneasy. The Mets are starting four lefties tonight, including three of the first four batters, so that should help.

It’s the re-opening of the bleachers tonight – left and center fields, anyway – and I’m not missing that. I’ll be out there somewhere if you see me and want to say hello. Blue/yellow shoes, light blue BN shirt (at least until I put the pink shirts they’re giving out over top of it). It’ll depend on where folks stake out their spots, but I suspect I’ll be somewhere in center field.
