Pre-Gamin’: Cubs v. Padres (9:10 CT) – Lineups, Broadcast Info, Game Thread

Pre-Gamin'

petco parkAfter a long two-day break between baseball games (about 53 hours), the Cubs play the Padres in San Diego tonight with a well-rested bullpen and a slightly revamped roster.

Jason Hammel looks to continue his excellent start to the season, and the Cubs have their new-ish, regular-ish lineup in place for this one against James Shields.

It’s been a strange year so far for Shields; he’s doing pretty much everything excellently, except he’s giving up a ton of home runs. I tend to think that’s more flukey than anything probative, so hopefully the Cubs can push across a few runs.
