Enhanced Box Score: Cubs 6, Nationals 3 – June 7, 2015

Enhanced Box Scores

I was on a flight from Texas during the entirety of today’s game, so I can’t offer you much in the way of analysis. But I can offer you this EBS, created lovingly in the car on the way home as The Wife drives.

Kyle Hendricks did his thing, and the bullpen mixed and matched to preserve the win. Offensively, the Cubs did what teams seem to be doing a lot to Jordan Zimmermann this year: putting the ball in play. Theirs fell for hits, and the Cubs took three of four from the Nationals. Right on the heels of losing two of three to the Marlins. Baseball, man.

There’s so much goodness I could highlight in this box score, but I’ll go with the guy whose return is quietly very good news.
