Enhanced Box Score: Cubs 14, Diamondbacks 5 – September 4, 2015

Enhanced Box Scores

The Cubs made things tough on former org-mate Zack Godley from thing one, gladly accepting walks in the first inning and netting three free runs in the process. It was even more downhill from there for Arizona pitchers who, despite the wind blowing in, gave up four looooong homers to Addison Russell (2), Anthony Rizzo, and Javy Baez. The offense showed up in force, and the game was over after an eight-run fifth inning.

You don’t even really need to discuss the pitching on a day like today.
