Chicago Cubs 2016 NL Central Championship Gear

busch stadiumAnother day, and another chance to gain a game on the Cardinals. For now, that’s how I’ll look at things.

Jason Hammel gets the start for the Cubs, and hopefully he’s got his best command tonight. The offense faces Michael Wacha, who’s gotten 10 days between starts, so he’ll either be rested and sharp or over-rested and rusty. Or neither of those things, and he’ll just be his normal self. Definitely one of those things.

The lineup might look a little wonky, but keep in mind that Wacha has been tougher on lefties this year than righties.
