Kris Bryant Crushes One to Break Cubs Rookie Home Run Record (VIDEO)

Kyle Schwarber worked a nice two-out walk in the third inning tonight, and Brewers starter Tyler Cravy missed the spot with his next offering quite badly.

The result was Kris Bryant going boooooom:

That sound. Lovely. When Kris Bryant isn’t driving a Lyft, he’s pretty good at baseball.

The homer gave Bryant 26 on the year, setting a new Cubs rookie record (Billy Williams hit 25 back in 1961). Bryant was rewarded with a standing ovation, a curtain call, and my mental bro hug.
