Wake Up and Watch Chris Denorfia’s Walk-Off Bomb (VIDEO)

By the sixth or seventh inning last night, it definitely had the feel of a game where the first to score between the Cubs and Royals would win. It wound up taking 11 innings, and a pinch hit appearance from Chris Denorfia to make that happen:

That was a rocket, at 105.6mph off the bat, according to Home Run Tracker. And it was just shy of 400 feet.

Not bad for a guy who hasn’t played too much in the last couple months, and it was the second time he walked the Cubs off by helping provide the only run of the game in extra innings.

Important questions for the video: who bat-flipped better, Denorfia or Addison Russell in the on-deck circle? And, what was Jonathan Herrera doing on the ground at the end of the celebration?
