The Cubs Play a Game Tomorrow! Here’s the Lineup! Ahhh!

Chicago Cubs News

I am, like you, such a dork. I saw this tweet from Jesse Rogers, and I got all giggly and smiley:

The Cubs open their Cactus League slate tomorrow at 2pm CT in Maryvale against the Brewers, and there you can see the first lineup.

God save you if you glean too much from it, but it’s interesting to see that, even after the Dexter Fowler addition, Javy Baez is still going to get in some actual game action in center field. Seems like a really good idea to me, and I’m eager to hear how he looks (the game isn’t televised, unfortunately).

There’s nothing to be gleaned from the lineup, either, as you often see regulars up near the top of the lineup, especially early in Spring, so they can get in their two or three at bats quickly and then get out.

So, yeah. Just don’t take anything from this. BUT IT’S A LINEUP! FOR CUBS BASEBALL! WHICH WILL BE PLAYED TOMORROW!
