Pre-Gamin’: White Sox v. Cubs (2:05 CT) – Lineup, Broadcast Info, Game Thread

sloan park mesa cubs springThe Cubs won a game yesterday, which means they can lose the next couple in relative safety from spring overreactors.

It’s a split squad day, with half the Cubs hosting the White Sox at Sloan this afternoon, and the other half heading to Glendale to take on the Dodgers tonight.

Jason Hammel gets Spring Training start number two, and I can’t help but wonder if Kyle Schwarber, who was hoping to play today but will more likely play tomorrow (knee), would have caught him if he’d been healthy.

Today’s game is on TV – not just, but TV-TV if you’re in Chicago – on WGN-9, though you’ll have to do it with White Sox broadcasters. Alternatively, you can listen on the radio at 670 The Score, or on For future reference, you can check which games will be televised here.
