The Cubs go for the series sweep behind Jake Arrieta today against lefty Patrick Corbin.

Since Corbin is especially tough on lefties and susceptible to righties, there are a bunch of switcharoos today:

6. Addison Russell, SS

8. Miguel Montero, C

Montero is the only lefty in the lineup, partly because David Ross caught yesterday and will again for Jon Lester, and partly because Montero and Arrieta seem to work well together.

Lefties Anthony Rizzo and Jason Heyward get the day off, though they could very plausibly get into the game later.

Let’s see if Addison Russell can finally have a breakout game against a lefty. His reverse split for his career is just crazy (101 wRC+ versus righties, 53(!) against lefties).
