WATCH: Anthony Rizzo’s Fantastic Catch Over the Tarp and Into the Stands

As you may recall, Anthony Rizzo loves himself a good tarp catch. His 2015 iteration was probably the defensive play of the year for the Cubs, or at least until that Addison Russell diving play against the Cardinals to win the game. (Remember that one!?)

Tonight’s version might not be quite as crazy as that one was last year, but it was awfully impressive:

That’s just a beautiful job of tracking the ball, bracing yourself, and going as far as you can to glove the ball. A nice memory for the folks in the front row, too.
