Well, that game was certainly more comfortably fun than the first two games in this series, even if it was a little less crazy.

Then again … was it less crazy? It featured: Anthony Rizzo hitting an inside-the-park homer right out of the gate. Addison Russell homering off of a *left*-handed pitcher. Albert Almora notching his first big league homer. Ben Zobrist making a perfect throw from right field to get a runner at the plate. Javy Baez doing ridiculous things in the field again. Willson Contreras nailing a baserunner and then getting nailed, himself, in the … area. Kyle Hendricks throwing a career-high 117 pitches to save the bullpen. I’m probably missing stuff.

And it was a sweep!

That was actually a pretty crazy game, too, even if it didn’t have the ONE thing to which you would point and call it crazy like The Kris Bryant Game and The Outta Left Field Game.

It always happens in Cincinnati, man (Castro’s debut, Rizzo’s fight with the Reds dugout, The Schwarber Game, Teagarden beats Chapman, the Arrieta no-hitter, on and on ) …
