On the first pitch he saw from American League starter Chris Sale in the All-Star Game, Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant did what he so often does: hit the bejeezus out of the ball.
And just like that, the National League had a 1-0 lead in the All-Star Game in the first inning, thanks to a Cub:
In the regular season, Bryant is 0-6 with 6 strikeouts against Sale, but, hey, who’s counting? He crushed this one on the national stage:
Kris Bryant's HR off Chris Sale was the 2nd hardest hit ball off Sale this year… 110.8 MPH.

That’s a rocket. And it went 410 feet, too. Sure is fun to have Cubs stars in the All-Star Game.
