That’s how many homers Anthony Rizzo has hit in each of the last three seasons, including 2016, now that he just rocked his 30th off of Carlos Martinez. Per Carrie Muskat, that makes Rizzo the first left-handed Cub to pop 30 homers in three straight seasons. That’s pretty awesome.

It wasn’t a monster bomb, at 386 feet, but it was popped at 101mph, and with enough loft to send it out.

On the year, Rizzo is hittingĀ .289/.386/.546 with those 30 homers, 99 RBI, and a 146 wRC+ that places him among the top 10 bats in baseball.
