Cubs Lineups

The Chicago Cubs have a chance to sweep the Reds tonight, but they’ll do it without a couple of regulars.

Here’s the lineup and defensive positioning for the series finale at Wrigley Field.

Chicago Cubs Lineup v. Cincinnati Reds (Robert Stephenson):

  1. Dexter Fowler, CF
  2. Kris Bryant, 3B
  3. Anthony Rizzo, 1B
  4. Ben Zobrist, 2B
  5. Jason Heyward, RF
  6. Javy Baez, SS
  7. Miguel Montero, C
  8. Chris Coghlan, LF
  9. John Lackey, P

With the righty Robert Stephenson on the mound tonight, the Cubs are loading the lineup with lefties. Each of Jason Heyward (he’s usually in there anyway, but you know), Miguel Montero, and Chris Coghlan grab the starts.

Addison Russell is also getting a breather tonight, as Javy Baez slides over to shortstop and bats sixth in the order. We’ll have a full Pre-Gamin’ for you closer to game time.
