In 2017, the Chicago Cubs have decided to latch onto the phrase #ThatsCub as something to rally around. The phrase is used to inspire and recognize hard work, but more importantly serves as a bond between Cubs players and fans. If you’ve been on Twitter or Facebook at all lately, I’m sure you’ve seen it around.
And although I’ll admit that I found the slogan perfectly solid on its own, I was pretty happy to learn that it comes with a bit of an organic history:

“It means something to be a Cub now.” It sure does.
Changing speeds, the Cubs also put together a little Spring Training package, from the perspective of fans. It’s great. I have to say, I may have only been able to make it to one Spring Training in my life so far, but all of the feelings and emotions described in this video were so very similar to the experiences I had.
This video is just beautiful and it’ll make you yearn for what lies ahead. Fortunately, we’re not too far away.
