WATCH: Kyle Schwarber Hits an Incredibly High Homer

Cubs Highlights

Did you know that Kyle Schwarber hasn’t homered in a year?

I know it might not feel that way, what with his World Series heroics, but he didn’t homer in the series (just missing off of Corey Kluber), and obviously didn’t homer in the regular season, which was all but lost to the knee injury. He did homer last spring, though, continuing the torrid pace he set from the previous playoffs (remember when he went absolutely nuts?)

But now he’s homered again! The “drought” is over!

The game today is not televised, but the folks at Cubs Insider are studs there on the spot. Thanks, gents! Give ’em a follow!

That was basically a nice long pop fly, but with Schwarber’s power and the conditions in Arizona, it carried. And it was nice to see.
