As you’ve no doubt figured by now, the site’s server has been in a heap of trouble since last night (and in a half-a-heap of trouble since Monday night). Why? I don’t know. I’m working with our host, Dreamhost, with whom we’ve been a happy customer for 10 years. Troubleshooting the issue, especially when it seemed to pop up with no changes on our end, is a real bear. I apologize for the downtime over the past couple days, and I can’t promise we’re not in for more.
In the meantime, I’m working on testing, so even if you’re able to access the site – and this post – you will almost certainly notice problems. I hope to have everything fixed as soon as possible, and I promise I’m doing all that I can.
In fact, this very post – and some that will follow – is part of that work. It’s not just a test post, because you got the update, but … well … this is largely a test post.
