Fans Can Now Register to Buy Cubs Postseason Tickets with a Refundable $50 Deposit

Chicago Cubs News

If I remember back to my childhood correctly, announcing your awareness of a “jinx” officially renders it’s ability to negatively affect results neutralized … right? Right. Let’s go with that.

Because I’m here to tell you that you can now register to buy Cubs postseason tickets at Cubs.com!

Here’s the Cubs’ official announcement:

If you head over to the link in the tweet (or click right here) you can see the details of the postseason ticket purchase opportunity. But in short, the Cubs are asking for a $50 refundable deposit (to limit duplicate entries) and a simple form submission in exchange for the chance to purchase playoff tickets at Wrigley Field, should the Cubs make it there by the end of the regular season.

The Cubs will then conduct random drawings from the eligible submissions and pick/notify the winners. In case you’re wondering, the $50 from the deposit goes towards the tickets you’ll ultimately purchase if you win.

In terms of your likelihood of wining, I can’t be sure, but I do know plenty of people who won the opportunity to buy tickets over the last few years (and that was before the Cubs included the $50 deposit). Let me put this a different way, I’ll definitely be signing up.

So head over to Cubs.com and register for a chance to purchase playoff tickets today (or, on second, though, don’t! That way I have a better chance of winning)!
