Kris Bryant ripped his 29th homer of the year in the 2nd inning tonight against the Cardinals, and that alone would make for an enjoyable moment.

That laser was 104.7 mph off the bat, and brought Kris Bryant’s season line up to .297/.410/.543 (148 wRC+), arguably better than his 2016 MVP campaign (.292/.385/.554, 148).
But did you catch the best part? Someone at Busch Stadium accidentally set off the fireworks for the Bryant homer! That’s too perfect.
As Bryant’s wife put it:
