Pre-Wild-Card-Gamin’: Rockies at Diamondbacks (7:00 CT) – Lineups, Broadcast Info, Game Thread

The NL Wild Card game is tonight, and in a sense, it feels oddly familiar.

Two teams from the same division – the Rockies and Diamondbacks – are squaring up in a one-game playoff for the privilege of playing the best team in baseball, who also happens to be from the same division … it’s the 2015 playoffs between the Cubs, Pirates, and Cardinals!

If history repeats itself, then, the Rockies (lower seed) will beat the Diamondbacks (higher seed) tonight, before going on to beat the Dodgers in the NLDS, and lose to the Cubs in the NLCS (if my memory serves me well). And, hey, I can dig that. So, uh, go Rockies!
