Inside-the-park homers are a fun oddity – there’s always some skill involved, but there’s also always got to be some kind of whacky luck. Marlins Park is built for whacky luck, what with its deep dimensions and center field contour. That’s what did the trick in this one for J.T. Realmuto, who, in fairness, deserved a homer given that he hit it well over 400 feet.
