Teams add-to, modify, and tweak their uniforms all the time. Even some of the traditional clubs will slightly alter a color or a strip or a cap to keep things spicy.
Sometimes, teams go with a more aggressive overhaul – total design change, color change, etc.
Lying somewhere in between, for the most part, is the new series of uniforms unveiled by the Arizona Diamondbacks. In general, I’m digging what they’ve done:

Not bad, eh? I like the way they incorporated that teal. Good look.

I understand *why* they went with this, being the “diamondback snakes” and all, but I’m not lovin’ it. From a distance and behind, it looks like a wild desert beast started gnawing on the player’s feet, creating a blood-spatter up the leg and a bloody stump at the bottom. And how could you run to first base on bloody stumps?
