I’ll just be honest with you up front: I’m a cat guy.
I think dogs are great, and I very much enjoy being around them. But, as a pet, I appreciate the passivity and independence of cats. They just seem more chill, and that works for me.
But after seeing the dog that this Phillies fan brought to a game, I’m reminded that you can find some perfectly chill dogs out there, too. I’m also reminded that sometimes a video makes you crack up laughing for no discernible reason while staring at an animal:

That dog knows what’s up. He knows the Phillies are rebuilding. He knows there probably isn’t going to be a ton of excitement in Philadelphia this year. So he’s just gonna lay back, and take it all in. Good boy.
Of course, if you figure the rebuild will take at least a few seasons, and then you put that in dog years, he’s going to have to keep chillin’ for about 21 years before he’ll have a reason to wag his tail.
