Even without his straight faced but hilarious bro-mance with Elvis Andrus or his stylish dance moves, Beltre is an extremely interesting and probably-destined-for-the-Hall-of-Fame baseball player. He’s one of my favorite non-Cubs, actually.
And he’s been doing it for a really long time:
Adrian Beltre was worth 3.4 WAR in 1999(!) and he's already been worth 1.3 WAR in 2016. What a player.

So then, maybe we shouldn’t be surprised to see Beltre hit a towering, 400+ foot home run into the camera well at Oakland Coliseum … with one knee planted on the ground:
Yeah, but can he do it with one arm tied behind his back?
Beltre crushed that home run, his 7th of the season, 429 feet deep into left center field, and the ball was in the air for over five seconds. You can read a bit more about the home run and see some other goofy/awesome moments of Beltre’s career here at Cut4.
