With the bases loaded in the 9th inning, the New York Yankees were on the verge of blowing their game against the Detroit Tigers last night.
That’s when Didi Gregorius and Starlin Castro combined on a critical, timely, and extremely impressive double play. That alone would be worthy of watching.
But you’re going to want to watch this one closely:
Yankees second baseman Starlin Castro didn’t just snag that ball with his bare hand, catch the bag with his foot, and make a strong throw while falling away … he did all that while blowing a bubble gum bubble.

As in, he didn’t even start blowing the bubble until he was into the play!
I can’t say I’ve ever seen that.
