Earlier this year, we watched as the Trenton Thunder (the Yankees’ Triple-A Affiliate) capped off an amazing comeback win with a walk-off, inside-the-park home run. Although the comeback as a whole was hugely impressive, it turns out it wasn’t all too unique.
As a matter of fact, the Pirates’ Josh Harrison completed a walk-off, inside-the-park home run giving the Pirates a victory of the Brewers just last night check it out:

Although Harrison’s inside-the-parker happened in the Major Leagues (and the Trenton Thunder’s didn’t), it was his that was of the “little league,” variety. After a crushing a ball to deep right center field, the Brewers threw the ball away, trying to get Harrison at third base, and they lost the game because of it.
That has to be simultaneously the most fun way to watch your team win and the most frustrating way to watch your team lose. Those poor Brewers fans. Someone get them some Miller Lite!
