Rougned Odor Slides Hard Into Second, Jason Kipnis Doesn’t Want Any Trouble

One of the most memorable moments from the 2016 MLB season so far, has easily been the … eh hem … altercation between Rougned Odor and Jose Bautista from mid-May. If you recall, Odor clocked Bautista in the face, after Bautista slid late into the bag at second.


If that description didn’t jog your memory, you may recall this image:

Hoping to avoid a similar fate, then, Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis made sure to stay out of Odor’s way, after Odor slid similarly late into the bag (smiling all the while):

That’s a pretty hilarious joke, and Odor’s response is equally funny. Even still, I don’t think anything can top the pure joy and enthusiasm coming from the Rangers’ dugout (particularly Adrian Beltre) when they realized what was happening:
