There aren’t many players out there like Adrian Beltre. Not only is he an elder statesman of the game playing like he’s a hot-shot 23 year old rookie, he embraces and embodies what it means to have fun while playing the sport.
Don’t remember all that he’s done? How about hitting a home run from a knee … twice, wielding a field broom to fend off a celebratory attack, getting disappointed in teammate and friend Elvis Andrus, being silly after pay day, faking every catch, or “helping,” a ball go foul.
So, yeah, he can sometimes be a goof:

In light of everything else he’s done, this “putt,” hardly cracks the top ten, but it’s just so quintessentially Beltre, and we love Beltre. So there it is. Plus, I hear he’s got to work on his short game.
