I’m fearful of sounding like a broken record, but I don’t know why this would magically change over night either: Adrian Beltre has more fun than anyone. Seriously. It wasn’t two days ago that we were laughing at Beltre working on his “short game,” at the plate, and today we’ll be laughing at his rendition of “can’t touch this,” at second base.
In the bottom of the fifth inning of yesterday’s game, Adrian Beltre hit a liner into right-center field. Upon seeing the ball get mishandled, Beltre turned the corner at first and took off for second. He slid in safely (with ease, really), but proceeded to give the Brewers another shot at getting him out.
Too bad, he’s too fast:
