I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that just about every team in MLB has at least one celebrity-fan about which they can boast. There are a lot of celebrities and only 30 teams, after all. But with that said, I don’t think many are better than Bill (and Joel!) Murray and the Chicago Cubs.
After all, Bill did crash a White House press conference to talk World Series forecasts, sang ‘Go Cubs Go’ on SNL, and even “interviewed” Theo Epstein after Game 7.
But he doesn’t just talk the talk. No, Bill Murray walks the walk of a die-hard Cubs fan too. For example, he chucked Jon Hamm’s Cardinal hat off the roof of Murphy’s after Game Five. Seriously:

Here’s how it went down (ESPN):
During the World Series, Beth, a devout but forlorn Cubs fan, had been stressed. When the games came to Wrigley, she took the tables out so there was more standing room, and an amalgam of celebrities filled the apartment above the bar after each game. John and Joan Cusack. Eddie Vedder, taking a selfie with her. Bill Murray, who long ago wore a Murphy’s hat in his still photograph as a player on “Saturday Night Live.” After Game 5, she found Jon Hamm in the alley behind the bar. Hamm had worn a Cardinals cap — he told Beth that it was his father’s — and Murray yanked it off his head and threw it outside.
Of course he did.
Beth apparently helped Hamm look for his hat in the alley behind Murphy’s, but quipped “You’ve got to admit, it was a little dickish to wear to the World Series.”
Hopefully Hamm found his father’s hat, but that’s a fair point from Murphy.
