Game 7 of the 2016 World Series was played in 5 hours, 31 minutes and 59 seconds. It was as action-filled as a ballgame gets with ups, downs, twists, turns and the kind of emotional rollercoaster that Hollywood executives dream about writing in a script and putting it on the big screen.
But if you don’t have nearly six hours of free time on your hands – or if you don’t want to re-live every moment of that stressful game in its entirety due to heart issues – the kind souls at RTSportsUploads have condensed one of the greatest World Series games ever played into 40 minutes (UPDATE: the video has since been taken down).
…
Everything of significance is in this video, from Dexter Fowler’s lead-off home run to Rajai Davis’ improbable game-tying blast against a 98-mph Aroldis Chapman fastball – and everything in between. Nearly six hours of baseball put into a 40-minute window is a perfect way to pass some time without needing to clear your schedule (and if 40 minutes is too long, try the 1 minute lego version).

If you’re missing the drama of high-stakes baseball in the dead of winter but are also in a time crunch, this post (and video) is for you. Or if you would prefer to sit back, relax and soak it all in again, MLB has Game 7 in all its glory on its YouTube page.
