You can see the full slate of games there at MLB.com’s link, but the short version is that the very first Spring Training game will be February 22, as the Arizona Diamondbacks take on Grand Canyon University. Winner gets to play in the NL West this year.
Official Cactus League and Grapefruit League games begin two days later on February 24, with the Orioles, Tigers, Mets, Red Sox, Phillies, Yankees, Reds, Giants, Rays, and Twins in action. Then, on February 25, every team gets underway.
So, then, there are exactly 40 days sandwiched in between today and the first Spring Training game. Baseball is coming. Soon. Hurry.
