There’s nothing like a good shenanigan, and the locker room of a baseball team – like the Royals! – is the perfect place to pull them off.
Just ask Danny Duffy – his latest shenanigan just scared the bejesus out of Alcides Escobar:
There’s something somewhat primal and fun about jumping out and surprising/scaring [TIP: For the best results, make sure the person knows who you are!]. The sneaking, the hiding, the ensuing and embarrassing screams of terror and hilarity. It’s great. And baseball players sure seem to enjoy it.
Remember Kenta Maeda jumping out and scaring the crap out of his translator?

That was probably before he knew how much that guy could hulk out though … I’d be scared to scare him, that’s for sure. Anyway, more shenanigans, please, MLB. We love ’em.
