Giancarlo Stanton Does Things to the Baseball That Should Be Impossible or Illegal (Like His Latest Homer)

Having recently heard that New York Yankees monster Aaron Judge was thinking about challenging his crown as the most intimidating presence at the plate, Miami Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton showed off his homer range – by which I mean the extreme types of homers he hits – in a recent game with two dingers, and then last night he hit one that just should not be possible.

Or, at least, should be illegal in 45 states:

To put that shot into context, here’s the visual:

At just a 19-degree launch angle, that thing essentially had the look of a line drive single to center. Except Stanton is such a freak that it carried an unthinkable 442 feet. And it got there in just 4.5 seconds!

You are not abiding the laws of the universe, Giancarlo. And I’m nervous. But excited.
