When Baseball’s So Easy You Can Do It Lying Down

Funny and Happy, Incredible Plays

Scott Richmond is a Canadian pitcher who once played for the Toronto Blue Jays, but now earns his bucks playing in China.

Indeed, the 6’5″, 220 LBs right-hander just signed a new deal with the Fubon Guardians of the CPBL (Chinese Professional Baseball League) earlier this winter, after winning a championship there last season.

But why he chose to continue playing abroad instead of sticking around Major League Baseball beats me … especially considering the fact that, for him, baseball’s so easy he can do it lying down:

Yup. That’s Richmond throwing out a runner from the mound … on his back. The reactions of his teammates and the runner are priceless:

Everyone, including Richmond, is like … really? Fantastic play.
