The Indians’ rookie third baseman, Yandy Diaz, has been almost flawless on the field this year. While he has still not made a single fielding error as Cleveland continues to play musical chairs with their defensive alignment (second baseman Jason Kipnis has been out with an injury), he has made one funny mistake.
After all, nobody’s perfect …
Well, Yandy had to commit an error at some point. Right, @Indians?#RallyTogether pic.twitter.com/z1XtMzeW8G

Diaz took to the field in the bottom of the first inning wearing the wrong cap, after the Indians put three runs on the board against the Twins. Cleveland took the field wearing its alternate blue tops with ‘Indians’ across the chest, and the cap that corresponds with this uniform features Chief Wahoo.
HOWEVER, Diaz jogged out to his position wearing a blue cap with the block red ‘C’ on it, which is the Indians’ other cap. Oops. Luckily, Diaz had good teammates waiting to pick him up and bring his cap.
