Yesterday, the Baltimore Orioles beat the Tampa Bay Rays by a final score of 5-4 in extra innings.
And although the Orioles ultimately sealed the victory with two runs in the bottom of the eleventh inning, the most important – and certainly most exciting – run came all the way back in the second.
That’s when outfielder Seth Smith scored a little league home run on a single hit to Kevin Kiermaier, arguably the best center fielder in baseball:
