Sometimes baseball can be pretty funny.
Like yesterday, for one example, when the Rockies first baseman, Ian Desmond, scored from first base on one single pitch:

What a great value: three bases for the price of one! The official scoring was a stolen base for Desmond and a throwing error for Padres’ catcher Austin Hedges.
Desmond also managed to go 1-4 on the night and make this spectacular catch from first:

But I think the extra 180 feet and additional run support was the true highlight of his evening.
