If you didn’t already know, college softball is freakin’ awesome. The amount of pure talent and excitement on the field is intoxicating. With that said, one Mississippi State University center fielder, in particular, stands out above the rest: Amanda Ivy.
Check out this home run robbing catch she made against Kentucky University just a few days ago to save a run and keep her team within three:
That is a legitimate full-speed, catch and crash home run robbery. But here’s the craziest part, it’s the first catch like this she’s made this season.

Earlier this season, Ivy made another fearless running catch into the wall, and clearly that didn’t phase her at all. She’s becoming one of the most exciting players to watch in the SEC.
