On Sunday, Family Feud held a special episode of their famous game show, pitting some former MLB legends up against their NBA counterparts.
On the baseball side of the stage, you’ll find Kevin Millar, Ozzie Smith, Harold Reynolds, Prince Fielder, and, of course, Hall-of-Famer Pedro Martinez. On the NBA side of the stage, you’ll find some basketball players (because, hey, we’re here for some Pedro, right?!).
While the show provided a number of memorable moments, the best came when Pedro was asked to provide a word that rhymes with “Yummy.” And because Millar already gave the answer “tummy,” Pedro had to get a little creative.
Okay, very creative:
“MIAMI,” he answers confidently.
Now, to be fair, the way he says “Miami,” sounds a heckuva lot closer yo “yummy” than it does when I say it with my Chicago accent … but still, that’s a pretty hilarious answer. And who knows, maybe he had the All-Star game on his mind.
Needless to say:
Maybe next time, champ.
