Bill Murray and his brother Brian Doyle-Murray have a new show coming out called “Extra-Innings,” wherein, it looks like they’ll be traveling and visiting Minor League ballparks across the country on one long road trip.
Here’s a trailer:
“Are you the guy in Ghostbusters?” I am he … we’re hiring.Â
According to Cut4 (who gets the h/t on the find), the Murray brothers even co-wrote and performed the theme song in the trailer. I am so very much here for this.
Billy – which is obviously what he likes us, his friends, to call him – is a famous baseball fan, with a particular affinity for the Chicago Cubs, as we all know:

And he’s certainly no band-wagoner, as history can attest:

So I’m guessing he does a great job on this series, especially with Brian – who you know from Groundhog Day, Caddyshack, Wayne’s World, Christmas Vacation, and about a million other things – as a perfect co-host. I can’t wait to check it out.
